Delta Boeing 747 'farewell tour' will visit four hub airports
Delta's reunion with the Boeing 747 was the result of its September 26, 2008, merger with Northwest Airlines (NW). The combined company was, at the time, the world's largest airline, with a total enterprise value of $17.7 billion.
